Alexandru Filip

Alexandru Filip has over 17 years of work experience in various roles in the technology industry. Alexandru is currently a Principal DevOps Engineer at Grass Valley, a position they have held since 2018. Before that, they worked as a Principal DevOps Engineer at Snell Advanced Media from 2017 to 2018. From 2015 to 2017, they served as a Senior Platform Operations Engineer at Imagination. Prior to that, they were an R&D Development Operations Engineer at Snell Advanced Media from 2014 to 2015. Alexandru also worked as a System Support Engineer at Quantel from 2013 to 2014. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Broadcast System Engineer at RCS&RDS/DIGI24HD from 2011 to 2013, and as the Owner of DREKO Inc from 2006 to 2011. Alexandru started their career as a WEB DEVELOPER at CG&GC in 2004.

Alexandru Filip attended the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a degree in Engineering and Management of Technological Systems with a specialization in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. Additionally, they obtained a Linux System Administrator certification from ProManagement in 2006.
