Laurie Owen

Laurie Owen is the current General Counsel at Grassroots Campaigns. Prior to that, they were an Associate at WKWilburn, P.C. from April 2008 to June 2013 where they represented global businesses and foreign governments/agencies in multiple U.S. jurisdictions on corporate, real estate/construction contract, and litigation matters. Before that, they were an Associate at Attorney Ray Lyons and Associates from January 2001 to December 2006 where they represented New England conservation organizations and businesses in acquisition/conveyance of real estate interests as well as developers and individuals in land use matters. Laurie started their career as an Associate at McKenzie & Edwards, P.C. from January 1993 to December 1995 where they defended the FDIC in cases arising out of the 1980's savings and loan crisis.

Laurie Owen graduated from The Williston Northampton School and then went on to Mount Holyoke College where they earned their Bachelor of Arts in American Studies. After college, they attended Boston College Law School and earned their Doctor of Law.

They work with Jeff Grady - Chief Financial Officer, Wes Jones - Co-Founder & National Canvass Director, and David Katz-Hackman - Clients Operations Director. Their manager is Sue Moran, Co-Founder & Principal. and Chelsea Nkrumah - Legal Administrator reports to Laurie Owen.
