Doug Schauer

Doug Schauer, FSA has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. In 2015, they started their career at Blue Shield of California, where they held various positions such as Associate Actuarial Analyst, Intermediate Actuarial Analyst, Senior Actuarial Analyst, and Data Scientist Consultant. Doug later joined Gravie in 2022 as the Lead Data Scientist. Prior to their actuarial career, Doug worked as an Assistant Director at Mathnasium - The Math Learning Center and as a Testing Proctor at Marymount California University.

Doug Schauer, FSA holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from The University of British Columbia, which they completed between 2010 and 2014. Doug is also a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, having achieved this designation in 2020 after pursuing Actuarial Science.
