Sungwon Y.

Sungwon Y. has over 20 years of work experience, starting with an internship at the United Nations in 2001. They then worked as an Advisor at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations. Sungwon also held positions at Seoul Guarantee Insurance Company Ltd., Won S Lee CPA, Justin Oh, CPA & Associates, and Gravity Interactive, Inc. In their role as Director of Finance and Business Administration at Gravity Interactive, Sungwon managed day-to-day accounting transactions, prepared financial reports, led staff, and oversaw tax compliance. Currently, Sungwon is working as a Senior Account Manager, CPA at Tapas Media.

Sungwon Y. completed a Master's degree in MBA in Accounting from Yonsei University from 1999 to 2003. In addition, Sungwon Y. earned a Master of Business Administration - MBA degree with a concentration in Accounting from the Zicklin School of Business at an undisclosed period of time between 2000 and 2001. Sungwon Y. also holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Sookmyung Women's University, which was obtained from 1994 to 1999. Regarding international programs, Sungwon Y. attended the ELS Program at Bentley University in 1997 and the Summer ELS Program at the University of California, Berkeley in the same year. Furthermore, Sungwon Y. participated in the ELS Program at the University of London in 1995.

In terms of certifications, Sungwon Y. obtained a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the California Board of Accountancy in October 2011. Two years prior, in February 2009, Sungwon Y. acquired a Real Estate Broker/Sales Agent certification issued by the California Department of Real Estate.
