Charlotte Tracey

UX Research Lead at Gravity Sketch

Charlotte Tracey has a wealth of experience in the UX/UI and optimisation fields. Charlotte began their career in 2012 as a Director's Assistant at the Void Art Gallery in Derry, where they developed and implemented the gallery's first ever digital marketing strategy. In 2013 they worked as a Data Administrator at Derry City Council and a Learning Assistant at the Turner Prize. Charlotte then moved on to Morris Hargreaves McIntyre as a Research Assistant, followed by Cotton Traders as an Online Marketing Coordinator. In 2016 they joined JD Sports Fashion plc as a UX and Optimisation Executive, and in 2017 they were hired as a Conversion Rate Optimisation Specialist at BPP. In 2019, they joined FATHOM_ as a Senior UX Researcher and UX Analyst. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Course Mentor for the Professional Diploma in UX Design at the UX Design Institute. Finally, in 2022, they took on the role of Senior UX Researcher at Gravity Sketch.

Charlotte Tracey obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Ancient History and Archaeology from the University of Liverpool in 2010. Charlotte then went on to obtain their Master of Arts in Cultural Heritage & Museum Studies from Ulster University in 2013. In 2021, they received their UX Certification from the Nielsen Norman Group.
