Nick Tacik

Nick Tacik has been working in the field of data science since 2009. Nick began as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, where they worked on numerical relativity. Nick also worked as a Teaching Assistant, managing a database of grades. In 2006, they were a Summer Research Assistant at the Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC). In 2016, they worked as a Machine Learning Research Scientist at Daisy Intelligence Corporation. In 2017, they were a Data Scientist at Quandl. In 2018, they were a Machine Learning Engineer at Chisel AI. In 2019, they were a Data Scientist at Rubikloud Technologies. Currently, they are a Principal Data Scientist at Gray Oncology Solutions.

Nick Tacik earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from McGill University between 2006 and 2009. Nick then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Toronto, which they completed in 2016.
