Lisa Hays

Lisa Hays has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a primary focus on actuarial roles. Lisa started their career in 1989 at Great American Insurance, where they held various actuarial positions for almost a decade. Lisa then joined Ohio Casualty Group as AVP of Commercial Lines Pricing, supervising teams responsible for developing price monitoring tools and reporting to senior management. In 2000, Lisa co-founded Insurance Analytics, a consulting firm providing actuarial and management reporting services to insurance companies. Lisa later rejoined Ohio Casualty Group as AVP of Corporate Planning and Research, actively participating in annual reinsurance renewal and providing pricing and reserving support for their Commercial Umbrella product. In 2007, Lisa became a Senior Company Actuary at Ohio Casualty Insurance, playing an active role on the senior management team to determine the company's long-term strategic direction. Lisa then moved to Liberty Mutual Insurance in 2009 as a Senior Managing Actuary, responsible for determining pricing levels for a $3 billion book of private passenger auto business. Lisa is currently working at Great American Insurance as the Vice President & Chief Actuary for the P&C Group, overseeing the actuarial department and providing pricing support for various divisions within the company.

Lisa Hays earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 1985 and 1989.
