Sandy Vargas

Sandy Vargas has work experience in the insurance industry, particularly in the areas of underwriting and claims. They have worked for Great American Insurance Group as a LEAD Associate - Production Underwriter starting in February 2023, and as a Risk Management and Insurance Intern - Property & Inland Marine from May 2022 to January 2023. Prior to that, Sandy had interned at Travelers as part of their Claim Professional Development Program, specializing in workers' compensation in 2021, and gaining exposure to different lines of business within the Claim Group in 2020.

Sandy Vargas has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Cal State Fullerton, College of Business and Economics. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management from Mt. San Antonio College. Additionally, they have completed the Women's Leadership Program from CSUF College of Business & Economics Women's Leadership Program and is pursuing the Collegiate Studies for CPCU certification from The Institutes, which is expected to be obtained in 2023.
