Natasha Akerman

Director, Regional Marketing at Great Canadian Entertainment

Natasha Akerman has a diverse work experience, with roles in marketing, media, and promotions. Natasha started their career in 2001 at CHUM Radio Vancouver, where they worked in promotions. In 2003, Natasha joined the Pacific National Exhibition as a Manager of Media and Promotions, eventually becoming the Director of Media and Corporate Partnerships. In 2007, they worked at ABCOM as a Director and then moved on to the Laura Ballance Media Group (LBMG) in 2013, where they served as the Vice President of Media and Client Relations. Most recently, Natasha worked at the Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, starting as the Manager of Direct and Digital Marketing before being promoted to Director of Regional Marketing.

Natasha Akerman attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2001, where they studied Broadcast Journalism. Later, from 2004 to 2007, they pursued education at UBC- Sauder School of Business, although the specific field of study is unknown.
