Tom Cono has extensive work experience in risk management and finance roles in the food and beverage industry. Tom is currently the Director of Risk Management and Sourcing at Great Lakes Cheese since April 2019. Prior to that, they held various roles at Little Caesars Pizza, including Director - Commodity Risk, Replenishment, and Analytics from March 2017 to April 2019, and Commodity Risk Director from February 2013 to March 2017. Tom also worked at Kraft Foods Group as a Senior Manager in Cheese and Dairy Risk Management from June 2010 to February 2013. Before that, they were the Treasury Manager at Leprino Foods Company from November 2006 to June 2010. Tom briefly worked at Coinstar Entertainment Services Inc. as Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis from February 2006 to November 2006, and at Albertsons as an Accounting Manager from August 2005 to February 2006. Tom started their career at Leprino Foods Company, where they held various roles including Sr. Financial Analyst from August 2003 to August 2005, Treasury Analyst from April 2002 to August 2003, and Production/Cost Accounting Analyst from November 2000 to April 2002.
Tom Cono attended Metropolitan State University of Denver from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance, General. In July 2003, they also obtained a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification from the Association for Financial Professionals.
