Lasse Petterson

CEO at Great Lakes Dredge & Dock

Lasse Petterson is the current CEO of Great Lakes Dredge & Dock.

Lasse has also served on the Board of Directors for Great Lakes Dredge and Dock, as well as Lclp Partners and CB&I.

From February 2009 to December 2013, they were the Chief Operating Officer for CB&I. Lasse was responsible for EVP and COO for the corporation, as well as sales and execution for engineering, construction, and major EPC projects in upstream, mid stream, and downstream Oil and Gas and Power.

From May 2006 to February 2009, they served as the CEO for Gearbulk. Lasse was responsible for the ship owning and operating group, which at the time was the world's largest owner and operator of gantry craned bulk carriers. The fleet had 85 Supra Max vessels and operated word wide with major hubs in UK, Brazil, Singapore, Dubai, and China.

From February 2002 to May 2006, they served as President and COO for AMEC.

And finally, from August 1980 to March 2002, they served as President & EVP for Aker Kvaerner.

Lasse Petterson has a Master of Science in Physics and Business Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

Some direct reports include William H. Hanson - Vice President - Government Relations and Business Development, Steven F. O'Hara - Senior Vice President - Corporate IIF and Northern Area Manager, and J. Christopher Gillespie - Senior Vice President - Operations.
