Lavonda Jackson

Lavonda Jackson's work experience includes serving as an Associate General Counsel at Great Lakes Water Authority since 2016. Prior to that, they worked as a Legal Consultant at Synergy Legal Consulting from 2014 to 2015. From 1999 to 2012, they held positions at Wayne County Michigan, including Deputy Director of Environmental Services and Assistant Corporation Counsel. Lavonda also worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law from 1998 to 2001 and as an Assistant Corporation Counsel at the City of Detroit Law Department from 1997 to 1999. In addition, they were an Adjunct Professor at Michigan State University in 1999, teaching various areas of Business Law. Before that, they worked as an Attorney at Edward & Jennings P.C. from 1996 to 1997, focusing on civil litigation. Lavonda also worked as a Research Assistant at George Washington University Government Contracts Center in 1994.
