Carmen Carrizales has extensive experience in community engagement and human capital consulting. Currently serving as the Food Rescue Partner Engagement Manager at Greater Chicago Food Depository since February 2018, Carmen has held several managerial roles within the organization. Previously, Carmen worked at Northstone Inc. from 2014 to February 2018 as an Executive, contributing to a premier human capital consulting firm. Additionally, from December 2008 to 2012, Carmen was involved with the American Cancer Society focusing on health initiatives aimed at combating cancer. Earlier experience includes an internship in finance and operations at The Cara Program in 2007-2008, which supports adults affected by homelessness and poverty. Carmen holds a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Political Science and Marketing from Augustana College and completed high school at St. Ignatius College Prep.

The Greater Chicago Food Depository, Chicago’s food bank, believes a healthy community starts with food.
