JP Carter has several years of experience in various roles within the social services field. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as an Activity Leader at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati, where they led and organized activities for the club members. In 2011, they took on the role of Residential Counselor at Boys Hope Girls Hope, where they provided support and guidance to young residents. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Consultant at Cincinnati Public Schools, focusing on teaching test taking skills and tutoring students for proficiency testing. In 2014, they joined Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services as a Care Manager, providing community psychiatric support treatment to mentally ill clients, assessing their needs, and developing individual recovery plans.
