Cheryl Jacobson

Cheryl is joining Greater Good Charities as the Manager of Pet Programs (Rescue Bank). Cheryl recently served as the Deputy Director for HSUS’ Equine Protection Department over the last 8+ years. In addition to the day-to-day management of the department, she managed the equine emergency grant project, which provides small, emergency grants to equine rescues and law enforcement agencies. She also managed the Homes for Horses Coalition, which is comprised of over 500 equine rescues around the country that are dedicated to ending all forms of equine abuse. She volunteered for other HSUS programs that provided support to rescues, shelters, and sanctuaries, such as Spayathon, SpayTogether, Plan 4 Progress, and various disaster response efforts.
