Ajay Patel

Ajay Patel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and electoral advisory roles. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at the Greater London Authority since February 2019, Ajay also manages digital transformation initiatives and oversaw the 2020 London Election count. For over a decade, Ajay has held various positions within the United Nations, including Special Assistant to the Special Representative of the Secretary General to Libya and Electoral Advisor. Previous roles include advising on electoral reform for UNDP, serving as a Deputy Director at The Carter Center during the Sudan Electoral Monitoring Mission, and conducting election administration analysis at the National Democratic Institute. Ajay's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham.
