Jas Bhalla

Mayor's Design Advocate at Greater London Authority

Jas Bhalla is a seasoned professional in architecture and urban design with extensive experience in various roles. Currently, Jas serves as the Principal at Jas Bhalla Works since October 2017 and holds positions as the Mayor's Design Advocate for the Greater London Authority and Founding Trustee of The London Neighbourhood Scholarship Trust. Previous roles include Architect at KPF, Architectural Assistant at Adjaye Associates, and Urban Designer at Alan Baxter & Associates. Jas has also contributed to education as a Visiting Urban Design Critic at The Bartlett and brings international experience as a Fulbright Scholar. Educational qualifications include a Master of Architecture from Yale University, a Master's in Urban Design from Cardiff University, and a Bachelor's in Urban Planning and Design from UCL.
