The current board of directors at Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank has a wide range of experiences in different industries. A few examples of their previous experiences include working as an instructor/employment services coordinator at Literacy*AmeriCorps Pittsburgh, a research intern at The Historical Association/Royal Geographic Society of the UK, and an office assistant at University of Pittsburgh. They have also worked in development for organizations such as Ronald McDonald House Charities of Pittsburgh & Morgantown and WVU Medicine Children's. In addition to their work experience, the board members also have a variety of educational backgrounds, including degrees in history, political science, public relations, and integrated marketing communications.
