Joe Sadewasser

Joe Sadewasser serves as the Scout Executive and CEO of the Greater St. Louis Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, since June 2015, following roles such as Deputy Scout Executive and Chief Operating Officer. With a focus on serving nearly 70,000 youth across 63 counties, Joe has a significant background in organizational leadership, demonstrated through positions like Director of Support Services, where strategic partnerships were established to enhance program execution. Previous experiences include serving as Field Director for the Hawkeye Area Council, Board Member for the Eastern Iowa Planned Giving Council, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals, along with a commitment to financial stewardship as a Finance Council Member at St. Thomas More Church. Joe holds a BA in Business Management from Loras College.
