Ligia Trevino

Ligia Trevino has a diverse work experience in the financial sector. Ligia started their career as the Director of Client Development at People Fund, where they analyzed small business loan requests and managed a portfolio of small business loans. Ligia then moved on to be the Director of Lending at Businesses Invest in Growth (BiG Austin), where they managed and serviced a growing Small Business Administration (SBA) microloan portfolio. Following that, Ligia worked at A+ Federal Credit Union as a Business Services Officer, where they developed new business, underwrote credit requests, and managed a growing loan portfolio. Ligia then joined Far West Capital as the Vice President of Underwriting, where they underwrote and analyzed the creditworthiness of sellers of accounts receivables and their debtors. Ligia also prepared credit analysis packages for review by the Loan Committee. Ligia Trevino obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from The University of Texas at Austin in the years 1979-1982. Ligia then pursued further education and completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Finance, General at Texas State University, which they finished in 1999. Additionally, Ligia obtained a General Banking Diploma from The American Institute of Banking in 1988 and attended the CUNA Business Lending Institute for Advanced Credit Analysis.
