Dimitrios Kantemnidis

Dimitrios Kantemnidis currently serves as the Managing Director of the Reception and Identification Center at the Ministry of Migration and Asylum since May 2022. Prior to this role, Dimitrios accumulated extensive experience as a Naval Officer at the Hellenic Naval Academy from September 2000 to January 2022. Academically, Dimitrios holds a PhD in Environmental Studies from the University of the Aegean and is a Fellow of the European Doctoral School in Environmental Security and the CSDP of the European Union. Additionally, degrees include a Master of Science in Physics and a Master of Arts in International Relations and National Security Studies, both obtained from the Naval Postgraduate School, along with a Bachelor's degree in Naval Science and Operational Studies from Hellenic Navy Academy.
