Ryan Nieto has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ryan began their career in 2000 as an Infantry/Squad Leader in the USMC, specializing in Urban Warfare instruction and leading combat operations in Iraq. After leaving the military in 2004, Ryan worked as a General Manager at Vertical Heaven Rock Climbing Gym from 2006 to 2008. Ryan then transitioned to Summit Tax Resolution, where they served as a Sales Manager from 2008 to 2009. In 2010, Ryan joined Evergreen Home Heating and Energy as a Residential Installation Technician before moving to Green Canopy in 2011. At Green Canopy, Ryan took on roles such as Project Manager from 2011 to 2014, Construction Program Manager from 2014 to 2019, and currently holds the position of Vice President of Operations. Their responsibilities at Green Canopy include overseeing operations, facilitating growth, and resolving conflicts to ensure the success of real estate development projects.
Ryan Nieto attended Brooks Institute from 2004 to 2006, where they studied Visual Journalism. In addition to their education at Brooks Institute, they also obtained several certifications. In November 2010, they completed the Performance Test Comfort Systems certification from the WSU Energy Extension Program. In September 2017, Ryan obtained the Part 107 - Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems certification from the Federal Aviation Administration. Lastly, in May 2012, they obtained the Journeyman Air Conditioning & Refrigeration certification from the City of Seattle.
