Currently serving as a retired owner of Greenfield Farm since March 2024, Bill previously held the position of Director of Risk and Regulatory Support at Blue Ridge Bank, overseeing compliance for a $3 billion institution. Bill's extensive career includes roles such as EVP/Chief Risk Officer at Essex Bank, where responsibilities encompassed consumer compliance and enterprise risk management, and Bank Examiner for the Bureau of Financial Institutions. Early career experience includes operations management at Southside Bank and e-focust inc, where innovative initiatives were developed in deposit operations. Bill holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Finance from Longwood College and has completed bank management programs at the Graduate School of Banking at LSU and the Virginia Bankers Association School.
