Jay Thomas

Jay Thomas serves as the Executive Director of the Vinyl Sustainability Council and Vice President of Sustainability at The Vinyl Institute, positions held since January 2020. Additionally, Jay is a member of the Board of Directors for the Vinyl Institute of Canada since January 2022 and has been the Director Emeritus at the Green Building Initiative since November 2012. Previous roles include President of Decision Driven Marketing from January 2017 to December 2021, Senior Contributing Building Technology Editor at commARCH, and Chief Marketing Officer at Mats Inc. Jay's extensive experience in marketing includes senior roles at Sika, AFC Cable Systems, and Sippican Inc. Jay holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a BS in Marketing from Northeastern University.
