Iman Brivanlou

Iman Brivanlou is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance and neuroscience. Currently serving as Managing Director at The TCW Group since August 2006, Iman heads the Income Equities group and leads portfolio management for the TCW High Income Equities and TCW Global REITs products. Previous roles include Senior Vice President and Senior Analyst at Green-Got, as well as an intern at Kayne Anderson engaging in quantitative modeling and analysis. Iman also worked as Lead Consultant at A.P.S, overseeing consultant teams for a boutique firm catering to healthcare professionals, and was an HHMI Postdoctoral Fellow at The Salk Institute, focused on understanding hippocampal neuronal circuitry. Iman holds an MBA in Finance - Strategy from UCLA Anderson School of Management, a PhD in Neuroscience from Harvard University, a Post-Doc in Neuroscience from The Salk Institute, and a BS in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
