Abrar Rayan

Abrar Rayan is currently an Engineer II at Green International Affiliates, Inc., a position held since February 2023. Prior to this role, Abrar served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from January 2021 to February 2023, leading projects such as the Intelligent Plasma Water Treatment Platform and testing Point of Use devices for PFASs. Additionally, Abrar contributed to wastewater-based epidemiology for SARS-CoV-2. Previous experience includes serving as a Data Analyst for MassDEP, focusing on PFAS analysis, and as a Quality Control Analyst. Abrar holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor of Science in Water Resources Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
