Steve Brownfield

Steve Brownfield has a diverse range of work experience in the field of commissioning and project management. Steve has worked as a Commissioning Lead at Green Li-ion, where they are involved in battery recycling technology for green energy transition. Prior to this, they worked at Verizon as an Owners Representative/Project Manager overseeing the construction of a new facility and managing various aspects of the project. Steve also worked as a Commissioning Engineer at Rubicon Technical Services - RTS. Before that, Steve held positions at Kelly Services USA LLC, Customer Service Water Department of Midland Texas, Kentz SR, Evapco, Black & Veatch/Sandy Creek Power Plant, and American Electric Power. In these roles, they gained experience in commissioning, start-up, and management of various systems and equipment in power plants and other facilities. Overall, Steve Brownfield has a strong background in commissioning, project management, and technical supervision.

In 1977, Steve Brownfield began attending the Tennessee Valley Authority Apprenticeship Program, where they completed their education in 1981. During this program, they specialized in valve recognition and repair, as well as the proper installation and maintenance of pumps and hydraulic systems. As a result, Steve obtained a degree as a Certified Welder and became a Journeyman Pipefitter.
