Antonia Cruz Arias

Antonia Cruz Arias has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Antonia Cruz began their career as a Teacher at the West Philadelphia Cooperative School, where they co-taught in a Reggio Emilia-inspired education program. Antonia Cruz focused on creating and implementing play-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum for children ages 2 through 5.

Antonia then worked as a Shift Supervisor and Customer Service representative at MOM's Organic Market, where they managed morning operations, interacted with customers, and represented the company at non-profit events related to environmental restoration efforts.

Antonia Cruz also served as a Bilingual Counselor Assistant at The School District of Philadelphia, providing support to students and families. At Weavers Way Co-op, they worked as a Cashier, handling customer transactions.

Antonia's experience within the education field continued at Greene Street Friends School, where they initially worked as a Teaching Associate and later as the Lead Teacher. Antonia Cruz demonstrated their expertise in creating and implementing foreign language programs and fostering community-wide exploration of Spanish as a second language.

Antonia Cruz also worked at The Miquon School as a Spanish Language Curriculum Development and Instruction specialist, designing a progressive foreign language program for children from nursery through 6th grade. Additionally, Antonia worked as an Elementary School Teacher at Miquon.

Prior to these roles, Antonia showcased their talent as a Cantaora (singer) at Flamenco del Encuentro. Antonia Cruz regularly performed and taught traditional cante (singing) alongside a group of musicians and dancers, including notable figures in the industry. Antonia Cruz'sperformances included appearances on local and international television and radio, as well as in various restaurants.

Antonia's work experience demonstrates their passion for education, language, and the arts, as well as their ability to adapt to different environments and roles.

Antonia Cruz Arias completed their Bachelor's degree in Spanish from Saint Joseph's University from 2006 to 2011. Antonia Cruz then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Temple University College of Education and Human Development from 2018 to 2021. Antonia also holds various certifications in project management, including Agile Project Management and Google Project Management Certificate from Google, as well as Foundations of Project Management from Coursera and Google. Antonia Cruz has also acquired certifications in other areas such as Adult and Child CPR/First Aid from the American Red Cross.
