Chantal Forrest

Chantal was elected as a Parent Governor in 2014 and was transferred to external governor status when her term of office as a parent governor ended. She is Chair of the Health and Safety Committee and a member of the Finance and Estates Committee. Her eldest two children both attended Greenhead College and went on to study at Sheffield University and Northumbria University. Her youngest daughter is now studying for her GCSEs.

Chantal is an experienced director, company secretary and general counsel.

Qualifying as a solicitor, she worked for the London law firm Baker & McKenzie before moving to West Yorkshire where she has lived for over twenty years, working primarily in the utility industry. She served as Company Secretary and General Counsel at Electricity North West and latterly as Group Company Secretary at Yorkshire Water. She is currently a non executive director on the board of Dev Clever Holdings plc, a FTSE listed software developer.
