Max Kuusela has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Max started their career as a Lab Technician at Bia Diagnostics in 2009 and later worked as a Tourism Development Researcher at ANCON in 2011. From 2010 to 2012, Max worked as a Fundraiser and Supervisor at McGill University, where they successfully raised over $250,000 in donations. In 2013, they held two positions: Customer Service Associate at Ike's and Solar Specialist at NRG Home Solar. At Ike's, their responsibilities included customer service and security. At NRG Home Solar, they worked with homeowners to educate them about residential PV solar systems and targeted qualified leads. Max joined Lyft in 2016 as a Senior Operations Associate, where they managed the Northern California Operations team and supervised the NorCal Express Drive team. Max'srole involved team management, operational improvements, data analysis, event planning, communications, and logistics. In 2018, Max worked as a Copywriter and Copy Editor at 5Crowd, where they produced and edited persuasive copy for e-commerce websites and small businesses. Max focused on maximizing SEO keywords and creating compelling content to drive customer action. Currently, Max works as a Product Support Specialist at Greenhouse Software, where they assist power players in attracting and retaining top talent through structured hiring.

Max Kuusela attended Burlington High School in Vermont from 2004 to 2008. Upon graduation, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Environmental Science and Biology at McGill University from 2008 to 2012. In 2011, they also had the opportunity to study Biodiversity, Neotropical Environments, and Environmental Management at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI) for a year.
