Jane Duong has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Jane currently holds the position of Vice President of Development & Communications at The Greenlining Institute since March 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Development Director at the same organization since May 2017. Before joining The Greenlining Institute, Jane worked as the Director of Development & Strategic Partnerships at the National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development (National CAPACD) from May 2016 to April 2017. Jane also served as the Director of Programs & Advocacy at the National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development (CAPACD) from August 2009 to April 2017. Jane has an extensive background in the nonprofit sector, having worked as a Trainer at the National Council of La Raza Housing Network Learning Alliance from March 2009 to March 2010. Jane also held positions such as Homeownership Program Manager at the Mission Economic Development Agency from July 2006 to 2009, Homeownership Coordinator at the East River Development Alliance from August 2005 to June 2006, and Property Management Assistant at the Chinatown Community Development Center from September 2002 to June 2004.

Jane Duong received a BA in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley in the years 1998 to 2002. Following this, they pursued further education and achieved an MA in Public Administration from New York University between 2004 and 2006.
