Shannon Fortenberry

Shannon Fortenberry has extensive experience in community investment and marketing, currently serving in a key role at GreenPoint Ag since May 2017 as part of the Community Investment & The GreenPoint Foundation. Previously, Shannon held the position of Director of Marketing and Provider Relations at Oxford Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine from February 2011 to December 2016, and worked as a Physician Relations Coordinator at Baptist Memorial Hospital - North Mississippi in 2010. Early career roles included reporter at WTVA from 2008 to 2010 and feature reporter for Ole Miss Sports Productions during the 2006, 2007, and 2010 football seasons. Shannon was also recognized as AJM 2004 during the tenure at America's Junior Miss from 2004 to 2005. Shannon holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Mississippi and an M.A. in Strategic Communication & Digital Strategy from the University of Oklahoma.
