Michael Perez

Michael Perez has a diverse range of work experience. Michael started their career as a Logistics Planner in the US Air Force Reserve, where they supervised a team and planned various operations. Michael then worked as a Contracts Manager at Complete Coach Works, leading contract management and execution.

In 2018, Perez joined GreenPower Motor Company Inc. as the Contracts and Grants Manager, where they built the Contracts and Grants Department from scratch and managed contract development and adherence. Michael later became the Director of Sales Contracts and Grants, overseeing bid and proposal responses that won supply contracts in multiple states and securing grant funds for electric truck and bus deployments.

Currently, Perez is the Vice President School Bus, Contracts, and Grants at GreenPower Motor Company Inc. Michael leads the School Bus sales team, develops new bus offerings, expands dealer partnerships, and directs product development and compliance. Michael also creates sales strategies and manages sales operations across North America.

Michael Perez obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from UC San Diego in 2012. Prior to attending UC San Diego, they completed transfer studies in Political Science at Mt. San Antonio College from 2008-2009. Michael also holds a certification in Basic Mechanic Classes from Complete Coach Works.
