Christina Coniglio

Christina Coniglio, CPA, CMA has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Christina currently holds the position of Director, Strategy Operations at GreenShield since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Controller, Cost Management at GreenShield from September 2022 to May 2023.

Before joining GreenShield, Christina worked at the City of Vaughan where they held various roles. From September 2018 to September 2022, they led the development of the 4-year Term of Council Strategic plan and was responsible for designing and managing the strategic planning framework and methodologies. Christina also created a governance model with cross-functional teams to oversee the progress of the strategic plan. In the previous year, from September 2017 to September 2018, they were a part of the Office of Transformation and Strategy, where they planned, designed, executed, and reported on various strategic planning and service excellence related projects.

Their experience at the City of Vaughan also includes working as part of the Financial Planning & Development Finance team from September 2015 to September 2017. In this role, they assisted in leading and organizing the budget process at the corporate level, monitored and analyzed expenditures, revenue, and funding, and provided management recommendations on corporate and departmental issues. Christina also led and organized the first-ever Finance Community engagement booth at City events, earning recognition for their leadership and project management.

Prior to their work at the City of Vaughan, Christina worked at Mondelēz International as a Finance Manager for Cookies Canada from November 2014 to September 2015, and as a Finance Manager from December 2012 to November 2014.

Before joining Mondelēz International, they worked at Lifestyles Global Network as a Finance Manager from January 2012 to August 2012, and as a Senior Financial Analyst from March 2008 to January 2012.

Christina's early career includes a role as a Financial Analyst at Recipe Unlimited Corporation from February 2006 to February 2007, as well as an Auditor at PwC from September 2004 to February 2006.

Overall, Christina has gained extensive experience in financial management, strategic planning, and project execution throughout their career.

Christina Coniglio, CPA, CMA attended the Schulich School of Business at York University from 2000 to 2004. Christina obtained a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada). Additionally, they have certifications in Lean Six Sigma, OKR Masters, and Performance Management and Strategy from various institutions.
