ARETE FRIEDMAN

Arete Friedman has a diverse work experience in the legal field. ARETE started their career as an associate at John P. Regan Esq. in 1996 and worked there until 1998. ARETE then joined Shearman & Sterling LLP as part of their Property Group in 1998 and stayed until 1999. Arete then worked as the Deputy General Counsel at Remy Amerique, Inc. from 1999 to 2001. ARETE moved on to AIG, where they held various roles such as Manager of Environmental Claims from 2001 to 2004 and Product Counsel from 2004 to 2005. Arete then joined Aequicap as a Senior Counsel from 2005 to 2008. ARETE later became Of Counsel at Bressler Law PLLC from 2009 to 2018. Arete then worked as a Senior Claims Specialist at Liberty Mutual Insurance from 2018 to 2020. From 2020 to 2022, they served as Complex Director, Complex Casualty Claims at AIG. Currently, Arete works at Greenskies Clean Focus as Corporate Counsel beginning in 2022.

Arete Friedman attended Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree with a focus on Environmental Law. Prior to that, they attended Binghamton University from 1988 to 1992, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Art History. ARETE'seducational journey began at Fieldston from 1984 to 1988, although the specific degree and field of study are not provided. Arete Friedman also holds additional certifications, including the NY Bar obtained in November 1997 from the New York State Bar Association, and the CT Bar obtained in September 1996 from the Connecticut Bar Association.
