Principal & CEO, The Liaison Group at Greenspoon Marder

Saphira Galoob is the current Principal & CEO of The Liaison Group at Greenspoon Marder. Saphira has extensive experience in the legal field, having worked as Senior Legal Counsel for Locke Lord LLP from June 2015 to July 2021, and Managing Associate for Dentons from January 2011 to June 2015. Prior to that, they served as Deputy Finance Director for The Competence Group (TCG) from October 2001 to January 2011.

Throughout their career, Saphira has handled complex multi-million dollar litigation with a focus on client services and efficiency. Her work includes everything from case assessment and strategy to pleadings, discovery, depositions, substantive motion practice, trial preparation, appellate briefing and settlement negotiations.

Saphira is also the Co-Chair of Locke Lord’s Cannabis Industry Group and regularly advises clients on legislative developments and legal issues associated with operating within the cannabis industry. Saphira is a co-editor of the Firm’s cannabis law blog and regularly publishes and speaks about emerging issues in cannabis law.

Saphira Galoob graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government. Saphira then attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where they earned their Juris Doctor (J.D.). After law school, Saphira participated in an international law summer program at Hertford College at the University of Oxford.
