Deric Emry

Deric joined Greenspring Associates in 2014 as a Venture Partner. With over fifteen years of venture capital experience, Deric previously served as a General Partner for ABS Capital Partners, a leading growth equity manager. At ABS Capital Partners, Deric primarily focused on investments in the media, communications and technology sectors. Some of his past investments include IgnitionOne, Defy Media, Tarpon Towers, Innovation Interactive (360i), Course Advisor, Zoom Media and Neustar (NYSE: NSR). Prior to joining ABS Capital, Deric was a member of Deutsche Bank Alex Brown’s Media & Communications Investment Banking team from 1996 to 1999. The Deutsche Bank Alex Brown team was largely considered to be the premier investment bank in the TMT sector, responsible for increasing the investment community’s awareness of emerging sub-sectors including tower and new media companies.
