Helen Moss

People Director at GreenSquareAccord

Helen joined GreenSquare in April 2020. She has extensive experience of leading large HR teams, both in the retail and water sector, and specialised expertise in blending cultures, and delivering people strategies in complex, multi-operational organisations.

Prior to moving into an HR role, Helen spent seven years working in retail and sales, managing multi million pound units for organisations such as B&Q and Bang & Olufsen.

During her HR career, Helen has worked in a variety of roles, including as an HR business partner and in HR project roles. While at B&Q, Helen led a number of key projects, including its global talent and development programme, and the restructure of its HR operating model across 360 stores in the UK and Ireland.

More recently Helen was the Head of HR for Pennon Group, which owns South West Water and Viridor, where she was responsible for leading the people strategy for South West Water and Pennon Shared Services. Working with South West Water’s regulators OFWAT, Helen led the delivery of South West Water’s first people strategy, which aligned to their five-year business plan.

Helen has a passion for creating a great place to work for employees. She looks to ensure that HR's place as an enabling function supports businesses to deliver the best service to their customers.
