Kumar Pallav

Kumar Pallav has extensive experience in various legal roles spanning multiple industries. Kumar began their career as an Associate Intern at Angel Law Group, where they assisted attorneys in debt settlement and negotiation. Kumar then worked as a Corporate Claims Analyst at BrownGreer PLC, where they reviewed and approved claims related to the BP oil spill case.

Pallav later joined Makan Land Development One LLC as Vice President, responsible for overseeing international business transactions, litigation, and regulatory compliance in the real estate and construction industry. Kumar then worked at Deloitte Haskins & Sells as a Senior Consultant/Deputy Manager, providing advice and support to Deloitte offices globally in areas such as M&A, tax, and audit.

Kumar continued their career at SYNEDRION GmbH/PTE LTD, serving as a Legal Manager in the financial services sector. Pallav then joined Amdocs, where they worked as an Employee Relations/HRO Legal professional, providing end-to-end legal support for global acquisitions and advising on various legal and compliance issues.

In 2019, Pallav joined Atos as a Legal Manager, heading the legal function and advisory for matters such as mergers and acquisitions, contract management, and risk mitigation. Kumar also supervised investigations and provided training on workforce and intellectual property rights.

Pallav further expanded their legal expertise at CRISIL Limited, where they served as an Account Director focusing on banking and finance. Kumar provided guidance and support in the UK and USA markets.

Before joining their current position, Pallav worked at EVERSANA as a Managing Counsel, specializing in life sciences and pharmaceuticals in the APAC region.

Currently, Pallav is employed at Greenville LNG as a Sr. Managing Counsel, overseeing legal matters related to oil and gas, engineering, IT, and power plant projects in the EMEA region.

Kumar Pallav has an extensive education history. In 2006, they obtained an Advocate certification from the Bar Council of India. Kumar also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from the University of Rajasthan between 2000 and 2003. Continuing their education in law, Kumar completed their LLB/J.D. degree at Bharati Vidyapeeth from 2003 to 2006. In 2007, they obtained a GCIP certification in Intellectual Property Law from the World Intellectual Property Organization. As their education progressed, Kumar pursued a D.I.P.L. degree in Intellectual Property Law at Bharati Vidyapeeth from 2007 to 2008. Kumar then attended New York University School of Law in 2009 and obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) degree, specializing in Corporation Law. During the same period, they also studied at NYU Stern School of Business, although the specific details of their degree are not mentioned. More recently, Kumar enrolled in the University of Alabama's Manderson Graduate School of Business in 2014 to pursue a degree in Business Administration and Management.

Additionally, Kumar Pallav has acquired various certifications over the years. In 2006, they obtained an Attorney certification from the BCI - Bar Council of India. Kumar also received training in Cyber Crime Investigation from the Asian School of Cyber Laws in January 2006. In 2012, Kumar obtained several certifications related to insider trading, conflict check and independence, risk management, and anti-money laundering from Deloitte. Furthermore, they completed a course on Labor & Contractor Compliance from HR GURU ASSOCIATES in June 2016. Most recently, in December 2020 and January 2021, Kumar attained certifications in the California Consumer Privacy Act's (CCPA) training requirement from Ccpafreetraining and GDPR Data Protection Officer (DPO) Skills from the University of Derby, respectively.
