Chelsea Gibbs is an accomplished film programmer and educator with extensive experience in the film industry. Currently serving as the Film Programmer at Greenwich Library since August 2021, Chelsea is leading the revitalization of a long-standing Friday Film series. At DVArchive since November 2015, Chelsea specializes in researching and editing public domain films, enhancing their accessibility in a digital database. As an Adjunct Instructor at Brigham Young University, Chelsea teaches post-WWII international film history, focusing on both well-known and obscure films. Previous roles include content writing for MoviesTO, award verification for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and research analysis at DMG. Chelsea holds a Master of Arts in Critical Studies from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Brigham Young University.
