Position Summary:

Serves as a strategic and tactical business partner to the Leadership team. Provides support in functional areas of Human Resources including employment, personnel records, employee labor relations, employee development, training, EEO, recruitment, and special projects.

A results-driven HR professional that assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures and their dissemination through employee booklets, communications, and/or meetings. Provides reports, data, and input to conform with legislated requirements or company needs. Influences change management initiatives in behaviors to achieve measurable results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and executing solutions in organizational structure, business process improvement, performance management, rewards and recognition strategies, communication, and staffing.
  • Plan and participate in division Talent Management and Succession Review
  • Coach, lead, and mentor team members to meet objectives
  • Guiding professionals about how to resolve or handle difficult workplace situations.
  • Work closely with Executives, Human Resource Vice President, and HR Personnel to ensure the HR strategy supports the overall business goals of the organization.
  • Stay abreast on HR trends, laws, or regulations to apply to the company’s HR strategy
  • Special Projects / Project management to effectively leading the project towards completion
  • Administer local salary performance review procedure and conduct wage analyst, benchmarking against market to ensure competitive compensation.
  • Conduct training sessions related to ethics, benefits, safety, policies, and others as required
  • Provide direction to employees in the resolution for problems related to benefits, company policies, conduct, etc.
  • Grievance investigations, providing proper documentation, and problem resolution.
  • Design and implement employee retention strategies
  • Source, screen, and recommend candidates for employment.
  • Conduct new employee orientation to ensure employees gain an understanding policy, safety guidelines, and benefit plans.
  • Support the administration of Worker’s Compensation and coordination of workplace safety programs.
  • Facilitate communication and employee involvement initiatives
  • Manage Employee Temporary Services
  • Process weekly billings from contingent suppliers
  • Demonstrates commitment to mission and vision of the organization and helps build character throughout staff.

Required Education and Experience:

  • At least 3 year working experience in Human Resource field
  • Strong Communication with all levels of the company; verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills
  • Leadership skills for motivating others to complete task and to meet the overall objectives of the company
  • Superior interpersonal skills and time management
  • Computer literate particularly with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, & PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail, willingness to develop and learn new skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and efficiently
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Strong sense of business ethics including the ability to appropriately handle confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

  • PHR/SPHR Certification a plus
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
