Jami Burdine

A human resources manager whose ultimate goal is to empower everyone around her. Armed with killer instincts, quick wits and boundless compassion, Jami greets all challenges head-on.

While earning a degree in business management and human resources at IUPUI, Jami also worked as a claims adjuster for a local insurance carrier. After graduation, she grew her HR career at Lee Supply and AAR Corp and eventually came back to her insurance roots as Gregory & Appel’s HR Manager, where she revels in helping her colleagues reach their personal and professional goals. Aside from lending a hand when needed, Jami excels at juggling G&A’s compensation, employee relations, compliance, employee benefits & wellness offerings as well as overseeing our internal committees. A self-proclaimed generalist, Jami touts she “knows a little bit about a lot of things.”

When she’s not busy focusing on G&A’s wellbeing, Jami is usually camping with her family or traveling to her sons’ sporting events. You can also find her nose-deep in a Dave Ramsey book as she is a big proponent of financial wellness.
