Manfred Stanek has a diverse work experience in various industries and leadership roles. Manfred served as the Interim Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Supervisory Board at Greiner Bio-One International, a global company in the biotechnology and medical devices field. Manfred also held the position of Chief Operating Officer and Board Member at Greiner, a global leader in plastic and foam solutions. Prior to that, they were the CEO of Greiner Packaging, one of Europe's leading plastic packaging manufacturers. Manfred Stanek also gained experience at Novelis as the Chief Commercial Officer and VP Corporate Strategy and later as the Vice President Sales & Marketing, Business Development & Strategic Planning. Manfred was the CEO of U.S. Zinc, where they successfully implemented business restructuring and supply chain strategies. Earlier in their career, they held leadership positions at Votorantim Metais and Proudfoot Consulting. Manfred Stanek began their career as a Partner at CZIPIN Produktivitätssteigerungs-GmbH.
Manfred Stanek completed their secondary education at Theresianische Akademie, earning a Matura / Abitur degree in 1987. Manfred then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business), graduating in 1994. In 2013, they attended INSEAD for a year to study Strategy and Finance. That same year, they also spent some time at the Center for Creative Leadership to further develop their skills in Organizational Leadership.
