Benjamin Cares Zalazar

Benjamin Cares Zalazar currently serves as the BESS Manager for LATAM at Grenergy Renovables, where Benjamin leads the BESS Department in developing energy storage projects from Non-Conventional Renewable Energy sources. Prior experience includes managing the Renewable Energy & BESS Unit at TRACTEBEL and overseeing the Solar PV, BESS & Green H2 Business Unit at Ingeteam S.A. Benjamin's earlier roles span various positions involving commercial management and engineering development at Trenner SPA, Siemens, Bimex Limitada, ABB Chile, and Teknica Chile Limitada. With a strong educational background that includes an Industrial Engineering degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and ongoing studies in Business Administration and Renewable Energy, Benjamin combines technical expertise with leadership in the renewable energy sector.
