Cheryl Travasso

Cheryl Travasso, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Cheryl most recently served as the Senior Vice President - Medical Strategy Director at Grey Group since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Edelman India from 2016 to 2022, where they held various positions including Associate Vice President (Health Sector), Senior Account Manager, and Account Manager. In 2021, Cheryl also pursued their passion for writing and authored a book called "Perspective," which consists of 300 reflections inspired by the Covid-19 pandemic. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at Sorento Healthcare Communications as a Content Manager. Additionally, Cheryl has experience working as a freelance news writer for The BMJ website from 2013 to 2016. Cheryl began their career in 2005 at the Advanced Centre for Treatment Research and Education in Cancer, where they served as a PhD student and later as a Junior Research Fellow.

Cheryl Travasso, Ph.D. earned a Bachelor's Degree from St. Xavier's College in 2003. Cheryl then pursued a Master's Degree in Biochemistry at jobs in hospital medical Careers from 2003 to 2005. Cheryl completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the Advanced Centre for Treatment Research and Education in Cancer, graduating in 2012.
