Michael Palmer

Michael Palmer has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Michael currently works as the Chief Engineer at Grey Market Labs, where they are responsible for architecting and building software and hardware products that enhance privacy-as-a-service in the online world. Prior to this, Michael worked as a Field Engineer at Pivotal Software, Inc. from 2015 to 2018. Before that, they served as a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton from 2013 to 2015 and as an IT Analyst at Bayer Business Services from 2012 to 2013. Michael's career started as an IT Technician/Consultant at Literati Information Technology, LLC in 2008, where they designed and implemented LANs, configured servers and workstations, provided technical support, and completed various self-directed and team projects for clients.

Michael Palmer attended West Virginia University from 2008 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Information Systems. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Security + certification from CompTIA in July 2015, and the Apache Hadoop 2.0 Developer-Java certification from Hortonworks in November 2014.
