Willie Yao

Willie Yao is an experienced engineering professional currently contributing to various initiatives at Notion focused on scaling infrastructure and enterprise features since September 2021. Yao previously held the position of Head of Infrastructure, successfully managing a high-performing team and achieving improvements in uptime, scalability, and productivity. Prior to Notion, Yao worked at Airbnb for over eight years, where responsibilities included leading the Developer Infrastructure team and overseeing the engineering internship program, nurturing the growth of over 100 interns. Yao also gained experience at Datadog on the development of their Application Performance Monitoring product. Yao holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Harvard University.
