Shannon Layton

Shannon Layton has extensive experience in talent development and organizational culture, currently serving as Senior Director of Enterprise People & Culture at Greystar since June 2015, where leadership and performance consulting are prioritized for a national team supporting approximately 19,000 team members. Previously, Layton held roles including Senior Director of Talent Development and Director of Team Member Development at Greystar, focusing on long-term talent strategies and transformative learning approaches, respectively. Additional experience includes serving as Adjunct Faculty Instructor at The University of Texas at Dallas and VP of Talent Development at Santander Consumer USA Inc., where comprehensive leadership programs were established. Earlier career positions encompassed management and training roles in various organizations, emphasizing curriculum design and development to enhance leadership capabilities. Layton holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and a diploma in Business Management from Robert Morris University - Illinois.
