Sebastian Belcher

Sebastian Belcher has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Sebastian began their career as a Kiteboarding Instructor at TRIBE WATERSPORTS LTD in 2014. In 2017, they became a Mechanical Engineer intern at Mt Elgon Orchards and in 2018, they were an Electrical Design Intern at Hitachi Europe. In 2019, they were a Project Intern at the University of Exeter, an Undergraduate Researching Tidal Energy at Inyanga Marine, and a Career Learning: Manufacturing and Project Management. In 2020, they became an Environment, Health and Safety Manager at Mt Elgon Orchards and an Electrical Engineering Consultant. In 2021, they are the Innovation Projects Lead at Grid Edge and is continuing their Career Learning: Manufacturing and Project Management.

Sebastian Belcher's education history includes a Matric from St Andrew's College, Grahamstown from 2009-2013. Sebastian then attended The University of Edinburgh from 2014-2019. From 2018-2020, they attended the University of Exeter and obtained a degree in Energy Engineering with a focus on Renewable Energy. Sebastian also obtained a Python Programming Masterclass with Tim Buchalka from UDemy from 2018-2021. In 2021, they obtained a Machine Learning with Python from Scratch certification from Udemy and an APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) from the Association for Project Management.
