Robert Marincu

Robert Marincu has been working in the tech industry since 2017. Robert started as a Computational Designer at Design International, where they were responsible for designing and 3D modelling concepts for facades, canopies, skylights, villas, and shopfronts. Robert improved team workflow by automating tasks with Python scripts and created a C# plugin that queries the OpenStreetMap API for an XML file containing coordinates and features. Robert also developed a web app that generates the relief of any given location using Python, Flask, JavaScript, and the Google Elevation API. In 2020, they joined Thought Machine as a Back End Engineer. In 2021, they moved to Pento as a Backend Engineer, and in 2022 they joined Green Energy Allies as a Full Stack Developer and GRID esports as a Backend Engineer.

Robert Marincu completed a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from The University of Manchester from 2014 to 2017. Robert then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Bath from 2019 to 2020.
